Build a School Where Faith Can Flourish
Chariya fell in love with Jesus while attending Takong Adventist School. After graduating, she was baptized, despite persecution from her Buddhist friends and family. Since there is no Adventist secondary school in the area, Chariya enrolled at the local public school, where she faced pressure to attend Saturday classes. Instead she attended church every Sabbath, trusting God to help her pass her classes. He did, and today Chariya teaches kindergarten at Takong Adventist School.
Last year, 25 Buddhist students at Takong Adventist School followed Jesus in baptism. Like Chariya they will face persecution and limited educational opportunities because of their decision. We are urgently raising funds to build the first ASAP high school for young believers in Cambodia. Help us give their faith a place to flourish!
