Monthly Prayer Points
PRAYER POINTS FOR THE MONTH OF DECEMBER:
- We praise the Lord for His faithfulness. The donations continue to pour into our office. We know that the gospel will go to all. Pray that God will move upon the hearts of His people here in the states so that they will give sacrificially to support missions while there is still an opportunity to do so.
- We thank the Lord for blessing the "Feed & Read" schools in Cambodia which are providing children with a hot meal, basic education and the chance to meet Jesus. We currently have 2 "Feed and Read" schools near the dumps and are partnering with other to support the literacy schools for Vietnamese children. Pray that God would bless the second Vietnamese literacy school which is now being started.
- The Lord has truly blessed in the production of our next DVD titled "Standing For God" which depicts rare faith and courage of ASAP lay pastors and youth evangelists. Pray that God would use this DVD in a mighty way to inspire others to have the same kind of faith our Vietnamese national missionaries have who are willing to sacrifice all for God. Pray also that this DVD would get into many homes and churches.
- The Sda Center (AIDS Hospice) which provides a home, care, food, and a family environment for Adventists and family members is needing a new home. Pray that the Lord would provide land for the new Sda center. And pray that God would bless those who are holding fundraisers to support this project.
- We thank the Lord for Pastor Boonpranee, the president of the Lao Adventist Field, who is laboring faithfully under difficult conditions. Please pray that God would make away for the doors of the Pakse church to open so people can worship freely. Though the Lao constitution provides for freedom of religion, there are other laws and policies that restrict complete religious freedom. Pray also that God would give Pastor Boonpranee and ther ASAP laborers wisdom and strength to do God's will.
