"But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind. And you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you; for you shall be repaid at the resurrection of the just." Luke 14:13-14

When you sponsor a student, teacher, church planter, or medical missionary through ASAP you are indeed throwing a feast for those who cannot pay you back. You are introducing a child to Jesus for the first time. You are teaching a middle-aged woman how to read and write. You are giving Bible studies to Buddhists and watching the Holy Spirit work on their hearts. You are helping to be the healing hand of God that touches those who are suffering physically and spiritually. They cannot repay you but they don't need to, for your Heavenly Father has already promised to do that.
